I Have a Dream

(Philippians 1:1–6)

Big Idea: Let us dream of the church that God desires.

Introduction

Today, I want to think about something a little different. What kind of church would you dislike? Perhaps one that is very dirty, where everyone is cold, where the Darth Vader Theme plays when the pastor takes the stage, or where you lose your energy just by going there.

So, what kind of church is a good church? What kind of dream do you have for the church? And even more importantly, what kind of dream does God have for this church? It has been one year since we started. Where are we headed from here? What will we become?

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. famously said, "I have a dream." I also have a dream. It is a vision of a church that I believe God desires. Would it be alright if I shared that with you today? Of course, I don't believe my vision is everything. My wish is for each and every one of you to have your own dream for this church.

1. The Blessing of Families

■ A Church Children Want to Attend I want the church to be a fun place for children. Children gathered around Jesus. Children naturally gather in fun places. Jesus must have been the kind of person people just wanted to be around. Of course, when children gather, it gets noisy. The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me".

In Japan, there are many suicides among teenagers, and many children cannot bring themselves to like who they are. But at church, they come to know God. They come to know life. They come to know their own value. Their direction in life becomes clear, and they live toward a goal. Also, the church is a place to learn about the world. People from various backgrounds and generations gather here. I think about how much this broadens the children's world. I want to be a church where children can say, "I want to go!"

My prayer has been: "May this become a church with friends of the same age by the time my eldest son becomes a middle school student". God is merciful. In the summer of his 6th-grade year, Mason joined us. Please try praying for these things yourself. A dream for the future: wouldn't it be nice to have playground equipment? A place where neighbors come to play, or a hangout spot for the youth?

■ A Church Where Three Generations Gather "Think Three." Wouldn't it be wonderful to have three generations gathering—grandpas and grandmas at church, and everyone eating a meal together after the service? Also, I think it's beautiful for a family to go to church together—riding in the car, walking from the station. I remember it too. We used to go out for a meal after church.

■ A Church with Many Not-Yet-Believers I believe a church is unhealthy if it consists only of people who have believed in Jesus for a long time. It is important that those who do not yet believe in Jesus can feel at ease. Not feeling out of place. A church should not be a place where only Christians have fun. It must be a church where not-yet-believers also have fun.

By "not-yet-believers," I don't mean people who are simply "not believers," but rather those who will believe in Jesus in the "future". Has the church unintentionally put up signs saying, "Only serious people, please," "Please come only after you've changed," or "Only those who fit this standard, please"? Jesus ate and drank wine with tax collectors, prostitutes, and sinners. Because of this, he was slandered as a glutton and a drunkard. Within that fellowship, they felt safe, they were accepted, and through that, they were changed. I want us to be a church with many not-yet-believers—a place where you can confidently bring your family members who do not yet believe.

2. A Community Empowered

■ A Church Rich in Fellowship (Small Groups) There was a person whose days were numbered. The members of their small group continued to support them. They gathered by the bedside, prayed together, and saw them through to the end. That is the true form of the church. Not just superficial acquaintances, but sharing life together. Precisely because real human interaction is becoming scarce in the modern age, I want this to be a place where people can encounter a genuine community.

Jesus said:

John 13:34: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another." John 13:35: "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

That is what a church is.

■ A Church Where the Power to Live Wells Up I want to be a church where people find strength just by going. What is "strength" or "energy"? Sometimes, even if the body is tired, the heart is burning and full of life. I've been thinking lately that the times we are truly exhausted are when we can no longer find meaning in what we are doing. We think, "What's the point of doing this?" or "What's the point of me being the only one staying faithful?" I believe the church is a place where you remember that your life has meaning. God is watching the way you live. It has meaning. There is a reward. God values you.

I also pray that you experience holistic blessing at church—restoration of family, blessings for children, for the marriage relationship, and for work. A place where we receive the power of the Holy Spirit and continue to be made new. That is the church. Wouldn't it be great if there was a rumor: "If you go there, you'll find strength"? Some people say, "I'm feeling down, so I'll stay home from church." No, you come because you are feeling down. It’s a place where you gain strength and then head back out.

At the end of the service, we have the benediction (blessing). Did you know that this is a prayer of "sending"? The word "Missa" (Mass) itself actually means "sending". In the past, services concluded with the Latin phrase "Ite, missa est" (Go, you are sent). The benediction is not just a quiet conclusion of "God's blessing on the congregation," but a dynamic prayer of "pushing people out into the world". Now, from here, receive God’s blessing, receive His love, receive your mission, and go out to your respective places. The way you spend your week will be different depending on whether you receive that power or not.

■ A Church Serving One Another My wish: When someone asks, "How many gatherings do you have?", I want to be able to answer, "I don't know. Everyone is doing things freely and vividly". Our church is bottom-up. I want it to be a place where your spiritual gifts are exercised.

1 Peter 4:10: "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."

People are saved and become Christians who serve the Lord vividly. Of course, there are those whose bodies cannot move easily. Please, by all means, pray for us.

■ A Church that is a House of Prayer The church is a house of prayer. What moves the church is the prayers of its members. Prayer is like the heart. A church without prayer is in heart failure. If it stays that way, it will die. A church with prayer is a church with faith. Because there is prayer, expectation is born. Faith wells up. And where there is faith, God’s work happens. Two things: ① Personal prayer. Even if it's short, I want it to be our culture to pray for the church and the service. We don't pray because we love the church; love wells up when we pray. ② In small groups and prayer meetings.

3. Becoming a Blessing

■ A Church that is a Model for Rural Evangelism Regional disparity is becoming a problem. In that context, there is a reality where rural churches are being cut off. There are few churches around Tsukuba as well. How can we do this in a sustainable way? I believe the answer is in the Bible. Look at the Colossian church. Colossae was a small town 160km east of Ephesus. Paul had never even been there. A man named Epaphras, who heard the Gospel in Ephesus, returned to his hometown to preach. A mother church in a regional city supporting surrounding towns as a team—we will become a model church for rural evangelism. I believe people will come to visit and observe us someday.

■ A Church Connected to the World This was the motivation for planting in Tsukuba. People from many countries gather here. They are saved → and then they are sent out. Just as Epaphras returned to his hometown of Colossae to preach, and Paul supported the Colossian church by writing a letter, I dream of people being raised in this church who are sent to various places with a heart for mission. I dream of a day in Heaven when someone from a country I’ve never visited says, "Are you from Tsukuba Life Church? Thank you! Because of you all, I was saved".

■ A Church Where You Can Encounter Jesus (Expectation) I want us to be a church where people come with the faith of "I am going to meet Jesus". For that, faith (expectation) is vital. We are a church that values worship. We want to be a church that believes Jesus is here today, that God the Holy Spirit touches us today and transforms us. We encounter Jesus in praise, in prayer, through the Word, and in fellowship.

■ A Church Where Everyone Can Dream Jesus must have had a dream for the church. He said, "On this rock I will build My church". When He headed for Jerusalem, and while He was on the Cross, did He not dream of the form of the church? I imagine He thought of the people who would be changed. I pray that this dream burns in each of your hearts as well. I believe there is a meaning for you being placed here.

Philippians 2:13: "For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."

Let us dream for the church. There is surely a vision that God desires for this church.

那麼，什麼樣的教會才是「好的教會」呢？你對教會有什麼樣的夢想？更重要的問題是，上帝對這間教會有著什麼樣的夢想？

我們開始每週禮拜已經一年了。從現在開始我們要往哪裡去？會變成什麼樣子？

馬丁·路德·金博士曾說過：「我有一個夢想。」我也有一場夢。那是關於我所相信的、上帝所期許的教會姿態。今天，我可以向大家分享這份願景嗎？

當然，我不認為這就是全部。我的心願是，請你們每一個人也都對這間教會擁有自己的夢想。

1. 家庭的祝福

■ 孩子們想去的教會

我希望教會對孩子們來說是一個充滿樂趣的地方。

耶穌的身邊總是聚集著孩子。孩子會被快樂的地方吸引。耶穌一定是那種讓人想親近的人。當然，孩子聚在一起會很吵鬧，門徒們也曾責備過，但耶穌說：「讓小孩子到我這裡來」。

在日本，十幾歲青少年的自殺率很高，很多人不喜歡自己。但在教會裡，他們認識上帝、認識人生、認識自己的價值。

他們的人生方向變得明確，並朝著目標邁進。

此外，教會也是一個了解世界的地方。這裡聚集了各種背景和世代的人。這對擴展孩子們的世界觀非常有幫助。

我希望能建立一間讓孩子們主動說「我想去」的教會。

我的禱告一直是：「希望在長子讀國中之前，教會裡能有同齡的朋友」。上帝是憐憫的，在他小六那年的夏天，Mason 來到了我們當中。請大家也試著為此祈禱。

對未來的夢想：如果這裡有遊樂設施該有多好？一個讓鄰居也來玩耍的地方，或是青少年聚會的基地。

■ 三代同堂的教會

「Think Three」。如果三代人能一起聚會——在教會看到爺爺奶奶，禮拜後大家一起吃飯，那不是很棒嗎？而且，一家人一起去教會是很美好的——一起搭車、從車站走路過來。我也還記得，小時候去完教會後全家一起去餐廳吃飯的場景。

■ 有許多「未來信徒」的教會

我認為如果一間教會只聚集了信主很久的人，那是不健康的。讓還沒相信耶穌的人感到安心是非常重要的，讓他們不會覺得格格不入。教會不應只是基督徒自得其樂的地方，也必須是讓尚未信主的人也覺得快樂的地方。

所謂「未信者」，不應解釋為「尚未成為信徒的人」，而是「未來（會相信耶穌）的人」。教會是否在不知不覺中掛起了看不見的招牌，寫著：「只歡迎嚴肅的人」、「請改變後再來」、「只接受符合標準的人」？

耶穌與稅吏、妓女和罪人一起吃飯喝酒，因此被毀謗為貪食好酒的人。但在那樣的團契中，他們感到安全、被接納，進而被改變。我希望建立一間有許多未來信徒的教會——一個你可以放心地帶著尚未信主的家人來的地方。

2. 領受力量的群體

■ 團契生活豐富的教會（小組）

曾有一位病危的人，小組成員們一直支持著他。大家聚集在病床邊一起祈禱，送他走完最後一程。這就是教會應有的姿態。不是表面上的社交，而是分享生命。正因為在現代社會中，人與人之間真實的交流變得很稀缺，我希望這裡能成為遇見真實群體的地方。

耶穌說：

John 13:34: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another."John 13:35: "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

這就是教會。

■ 湧現生命力的教會

我希望建立一間讓人一去就能獲得力量的教會。

所謂「力量」是什麼呢？有時候即便身體疲憊，但內心卻是火熱且有活力的。

最近我常在想，我們真正感到疲憊的時候，往往是找不到所做之事的意義的時候。

「做這些到底有什麼意義？」、「只有我一個人在堅持誠實又有什麼用？」教會就是一個讓你重新想起「你的生命是有意義」的地方。上帝看顧著你的生活方式。這是有意義的，是有賞賜的，上帝肯定你的價值。

我也祈願大家能在教會體驗到全人的祝福——家庭的修復、孩子的蒙福、夫妻關係的祝福以及工作的蒙福。一個讓我們領受聖靈能力並不斷更新的地方。如果有人傳言說：「去那裡就會有精神喔」，那該多好。

有人說「因為心情不好所以不去教會」，其實正是因為心情不好才更要來。在這裡重新獲得力量後，再重新出發。

在禮拜結束時會有祝禱。你知道那其實是「派遣」的祈禱嗎？「彌撒（Missa）」這個詞本身的意思就是**「派遣」。 過去在禮拜結束時會宣告拉丁語 "Ite, missa est"（去吧，你們被遣散了）。祝禱不只是安靜地結束，而是「向世界推進的動態派遣」**。現在，從這裡開始，帶著上帝的祝福、愛與使命，回到各自的禾場。

有沒有領受這份力量，將決定你這一週過得如何。

■ 彼此服事的教會

我的心願是，當有人問起「你們有多少個聚會？」時，我能回答：「我不知道，因為大家都很自由且生機勃勃地在做著」。

我們的教會是「由下而上（Bottom-up）」的。我希望這裡能成為發揮你恩賜的地方。

3. 成為祝福

■ 地方傳道的模範教會

城鄉差距正成為一個問題。在這種情況下，地方教會面臨著被邊緣化的現實。

筑波周邊的教會也很少。我們要如何以永續的方式發展？我相信答案就在聖經中。看看歌羅西教會，歌羅西是位於以弗所東邊160公里的小鎮，保羅甚至從未去過。一位在以弗所聽聞福音的以巴弗，回到故鄉開始傳道。

在地方城市建立母體教會，並以團隊形式支援周邊城鎮——我們將成為地方傳道的模範教會。我相信總有一天人們會來參訪。

■ 與世界接軌的教會

這是當初在筑波開拓的動機。這裡聚集了各國的人，他們得救 → 然後被派遣出去。

就像以巴弗回到故鄉傳道，保羅寫信支持歌羅西教會一樣，我夢想著這間教會能興起更多擁有宣教心志的人，被派往各地。

我夢想著有一天在天國，有位來自我不曾去過之國家的人對我說：「你是筑波 Life Church 的人嗎？謝謝你！因為有你們，我才得救了」。

■ 能遇見耶穌（充滿期待）的教會

我希望我們能成為一間讓人帶著「我要去遇見耶穌」之信心而來的教會。為此，信心（期待感）至關重要。

我們是一間重視崇拜的教會。我們相信耶穌今天就在這裡，相信聖靈今天會觸摸並更新我們。我們在讚美、禱告、話語以及團契中遇見耶穌。

■ 每個人都能夢想的教會

耶穌對教會一定也有夢想。

祂曾說：「我要把我的教會建造在這磐石上」。

當祂走向耶路撒冷，在十字架上時，祂是否也正夢想著教會的樣貌？

我想，祂一定也掛念著那些將被改變的人們。

我祈願這份夢想也燃燒在你們每個人的心中。我相信你被安置在這裡是有意義的。

■ Simbahang Naglilingkod sa Isa't Isa Ang aking hiling: Kapag may nagtanong, "Ilang pagtitipon mayroon kayo?", gusto kong masagot na, "Hindi ko alam. Ang lahat ay gumagawa ng mga bagay nang malaya at masigla". Ang ating simbahan ay bottom-up. Gusto ko itong maging lugar kung saan ang inyong mga espirituwal na kaloob ay nagagamit.

1 Pedro 4:10: "Bilang mga mabuting katiwala ng iba't ibang biyaya ng Diyos, gamitin ninyo ang kaloob na tinanggap ng bawat isa sa paglilingkod sa isa't isa." 

Ang mga tao ay naliligtas at nagiging mga Kristiyano na naglilingkod sa Panginoon nang masigla. Siyempre, may mga taong hindi na madaling makagalaw ang katawan. Mangyaring, sa lahat ng paraan, ipanalangin ninyo kami.

■ Simbahang Bahay ng Panalangin Ang simbahan ay bahay ng panalangin. Ang nagpapakilos sa simbahan ay ang mga panalangin ng mga miyembro nito. Ang panalangin ay parang puso. Ang simbahang walang panalangin ay may sakit sa puso (heart failure). Kung mananatili itong ganoon, ito ay mamamatay. Ang simbahang may panalangin ay simbahang may pananampalataya. Dahil may panalangin, ang pag-asa (expectation) ay isinisilang. Ang pananampalataya ay umaapaw. At kung saan may pananampalataya, ang gawa ng Diyos ay nangyayari. Dalawang bagay:

1. Personal na panalangin. Kahit maikli, gusto kong maging kultura natin ang ipanalangin ang simbahan at ang pagsamba. Hindi tayo nananalangin dahil mahal natin ang simbahan; ang pag-ibig ay umaapaw kapag tayo ay nananalangin.

   
   

2. Sa mga small group at prayer meetings.

   
   

3. Pagiging Pagpapala

■ Simbahang Modelo para sa Rural Evangelism Ang pagkakaiba-iba ng rehiyon ay nagiging problema. Sa kontekstong iyon, mayroong realidad kung saan ang mga simbahan sa probinsya ay napapabayaan. Kakaunti rin ang mga simbahan sa paligid ng Tsukuba. Paano natin ito magagawa sa paraang sustainable? Naniniwala ako na ang sagot ay nasa Bibliya. Tingnan ang simbahan sa Colosas. Ang Colosas ay isang maliit na bayan na 160km sa silangan ng Efeso. Hindi pa kailanman nakapunta roon si Pablo. Isang lalaking nagngangalang Epafras, na nakarinig ng Ebanghelyo sa Efeso, ang bumalik sa kanyang sariling bayan upang mangaral. Isang "mother church" sa isang rehiyonal na lungsod na sumusuporta sa mga nakapaligid na bayan bilang isang koponan—tayo ay magiging modelo na simbahan para sa rural evangelism. Naniniwala ako na ang mga tao ay darating para bumisita at mag-obserba sa atin balang araw.

■ Simbahang Konektado sa Mundo Ito ang motibasyon sa pagtatanim ng simbahan sa Tsukuba. Ang mga tao mula sa maraming bansa ay nagtitipon dito. Sila ay naliligtas → at pagkatapos ay sinusugo sila. Kung paanong bumalik si Epafras sa kanyang sariling bayan sa Colosas upang mangaral, at sinuportahan ni Pablo ang simbahan sa Colosas sa pamamagitan ng pagsulat ng liham, pinapangarap ko na may mga taong mabubuo sa simbahang ito na isusugo sa iba't ibang lugar na may puso para sa misyon. Pinapangarap ko ang isang araw sa Langit kung kailan may sasabihin ang isang tao mula sa isang bansang hindi ko pa kailanman napuntahan, "Ikaw ba ay mula sa Tsukuba Life Church? Salamat! Dahil sa inyong lahat, ako ay naligtas".

■ Simbahang Makakatagpo Mo si Jesus (Expectation) Gusto kong maging isang simbahan tayo kung saan ang mga tao ay pumupunta na may pananampalatayang "Makikipagtagpo ako kay Jesus". Para doon, ang pananampalataya (expectation) ay napakahalaga. Tayo ay isang simbahang nagpapahalaga sa pagsamba. Gusto nating maging isang simbahang naniniwala na si Jesus ay narito ngayon, na ang Diyos Espiritu Santo ay humahawak sa atin ngayon at binabago tayo. Nakakatagpo natin si Jesus sa papuri, sa panalangin, sa pamamagitan ng Salita, at sa pakikisalamuha.

■ Simbahang Lahat ay Maaaring Mangarap Si Jesus ay dapat na may pangarap para sa simbahan. Sinabi Niya, "Sa ibabaw ng batong ito ay itatayo Ko ang Aking simbahan". Nang Siya ay tumungo sa Jerusalem, at habang Siya ay nasa Krus, hindi ba Niya pinangarap ang anyo ng simbahan? Iniisip ko na naisip Niya ang mga taong magbabago. Idinadalangin ko na ang pangarap na ito ay mag-alab sa puso ng bawat isa sa inyo. Naniniwala ako na mayroong kahulugan ang pagkakalagay ninyo rito.

Filipos 2:13: "Sapagkat ang Diyos ang gumagawa sa inyo ng pagnanais at ng paggawa para sa Kanyang ikalulugod." 

Tayo ay mangarap para sa simbahan. Tiyak na mayroong pangitain na ninanais ang Diyos para sa simbahang ito.

I Have a Dream (Filipenses 1:1–6)

Big Idea: Vamos sonhar com a igreja que Deus deseja. 

Introdução

Hoje, eu gostaria de pensar em algo um pouco diferente. Que tipo de igreja você não gostaria? Talvez uma que fosse muito suja, onde todos fossem frios, onde o Tema de Darth Vader tocasse quando o pastor subisse ao palco, ou onde você perdesse as energias só de estar lá.

Então, o que é uma igreja boa? Qual é o sonho que você tem para a igreja? E a pergunta ainda mais importante: qual é o sonho que Deus tem para esta igreja? Faz um ano que começamos. Para onde estamos indo a partir daqui? O que nos tornaremos?

O Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. disse: "I have a dream" (Eu tenho um sonho). Eu também tenho um sonho.  É uma visão da igreja que eu acredito que Deus deseja. Eu poderia compartilhar isso com vocês hoje? Claro, não acredito que minha visão seja tudo. Meu desejo é que cada um de vocês também tenha seu próprio sonho para esta igreja.

1. A Bênção das Famílias

■ Uma Igreja que as Crianças Queiram Frequentar Eu quero que a igreja seja um lugar divertido para as crianças. As crianças se reuniam ao redor de Jesus.  As crianças naturalmente se reúnem em lugares divertidos. Jesus deve ter sido o tipo de pessoa com quem as pessoas queriam estar. Claro, quando as crianças se reúnem, faz barulho. Os discípulos as repreenderam, mas Jesus disse: "Deixem vir a mim as crianças".

No Japão, há muitos suicídios entre adolescentes, e muitas crianças não conseguem gostar de quem são.  Mas na igreja, elas conhecem a Deus. Conhecem a vida. Conhecem o seu próprio valor. A direção da vida delas torna-se clara, e elas vivem em direção a um objetivo. Além disso, a igreja é um lugar para aprender sobre o mundo. Pessoas de várias origens e gerações se reúnem aqui. Eu penso em como isso amplia o mundo das crianças. Eu quero ser uma igreja onde as crianças possam dizer: "Eu quero ir!".

Minha oração tem sido: "Que esta se torne uma igreja com amigos da mesma idade no momento em que meu filho mais velho se tornar um estudante do ensino fundamental II".  Deus é misericordioso. No verão do seu 6º ano, Mason se juntou a nós. Por favor, tentem orar por essas coisas vocês mesmos. Um sonho para o futuro: não seria bom ter equipamentos de playground? Um lugar onde os vizinhos venham brincar, ou um lugar para os jovens (youth) se reunirem?

■ Uma Igreja onde Três Gerações se Reúnem "Think Three" (Pense em Três).  Não seria maravilhoso ter três gerações se reunindo — vovôs e vovós na igreja, e todos comendo juntos após o culto? Além disso, acho lindo uma família ir à igreja junta — indo no carro, caminhando da estação. Eu me lembro disso também; costumávamos sair para comer depois da igreja.

■ Uma Igreja com Muitos "Ainda-Não-Crentes" Acredito que uma igreja não é saudável se consiste apenas de pessoas que creem em Jesus há muito tempo.  É importante que aqueles que ainda não creem em Jesus possam se sentir à vontade. Não se sentir fora de lugar. Uma igreja não deve ser um lugar onde apenas os cristãos se divertem. Deve ser uma igreja onde os ainda-não-crentes também se divirtam.

Por "ainda-não-crentes", não me refiro a pessoas que são simplesmente "não crentes", mas sim àqueles que crerão em Jesus no "futuro". Será que a igreja, sem querer, colocou placas dizendo: "Apenas pessoas sérias, por favor", "Por favor, venha apenas depois de ter mudado" ou "Apenas aqueles que se encaixam neste padrão, por favor"? Jesus comeu e bebeu vinho com cobradores de impostos, prostitutas e pecadores.  Por causa disso, ele foi caluniado como glutão e beberrão. Dentro daquela comunhão, eles se sentiram seguros, foram aceitos e, por meio disso, foram transformados. Eu quero que sejamos uma igreja com muitos ainda-não-crentes — um lugar onde você possa trazer com confiança os membros da sua família que ainda não creem.

2. Uma Comunidade Fortalecida

■ Uma Igreja Rica em Comunhão (Pequenos Grupos)  Houve uma pessoa cujos dias estavam contados. Os membros do seu pequeno grupo continuaram a apoiá-la. Eles se reuniram à beira da cama, oraram juntos e a acompanharam até o fim.  Essa é a verdadeira forma da igreja. Não apenas conhecidos superficiais, mas compartilhando a vida juntos. Precisamente porque a interação humana real está se tornando escassa na era moderna, quero que este seja um lugar onde as pessoas possam encontrar uma comunidade genuína.

Jesus disse:

João 13:34: "Um novo mandamento lhes dou: Amem-se uns aos outros. Como eu os amei, vocês devem amar-se uns aos outros." João 13:35: "Com isso todos saberão que vocês são meus discípulos, se vocês se amarem uns aos outros." 

Isso é o que é uma igreja.

■ Uma Igreja onde o Poder para Viver Brota Eu quero ser uma igreja onde as pessoas encontrem forças apenas por irem lá. O que é "força" ou "energia"? Às vezes, mesmo que o corpo esteja cansado, o coração está ardendo e cheio de vida. Tenho pensado ultimamente que os momentos em que estamos verdadeiramente exaustos são quando não conseguimos mais encontrar sentido no que estamos fazendo. Pensamos: "Qual é o sentido de fazer isso?" ou "Qual é o sentido de eu ser o único a permanecer fiel?".  Eu acredito que a igreja é um lugar onde você se lembra de que sua vida tem sentido. Deus está observando a maneira como você vive.  Tem sentido. Há uma recompensa. Deus valoriza você.

Também oro para que vocês experimentem a bênção holística na igreja — restauração da família, bênçãos para os filhos, para o relacionamento conjugal e para o trabalho. Um lugar onde recebemos o poder do Espírito Santo e continuamos a ser renovados.  Essa é a igreja. Não seria ótimo se houvesse um boato: "Se você for lá, encontrará forças"? Algumas pessoas dizem: "Estou me sentindo desanimado, por isso vou ficar em casa e não vou à igreja". Não, você vem porque está se sentindo desanimado. É um lugar onde você ganha força e depois volta para o mundo.

Ao final do culto, temos a bênção. Você sabia que esta é uma oração de "envio"? A própria palavra "Missa" (Missa) na verdade significa "envio". No passado, os cultos terminavam com a frase em latim "Ite, missa est" (Vão, vocês são enviados). A bênção não é apenas uma conclusão silenciosa da "bênção de Deus sobre a congregação", mas uma oração dinâmica de "empurrar as pessoas para o mundo". Agora, a partir daqui, receba a bênção de Deus, receba o Seu amor, receba a sua missão e vá para os seus respectivos lugares. A maneira como você passa a sua semana será diferente dependendo de você receber esse poder ou não.

■ Uma Igreja de Serviço Mútuo Meu desejo: quando alguém perguntar: "Quantas reuniões vocês têm?", eu quero poder responder: "Não sei. Todos estão fazendo as coisas livremente e com alegria". Nossa igreja é de baixo para cima (bottom-up). Quero que seja um lugar onde seus dons espirituais sejam exercidos.

1 Pedro 4:10: "Cada um exerça o dom que recebeu para servir os outros, administrando fielmente a multiforme graça de Deus." 

As pessoas são salvas e tornam-se cristãos que servem ao Senhor com alegria.  Claro, há aqueles cujos corpos não podem se mover facilmente. Por favor, de todas as formas, orem por nós.

■ Uma Igreja que é uma Casa de Oração  A igreja é uma casa de oração. O que move a igreja são as orações de seus membros.  A oração é como o coração. Uma igreja sem oração está em insuficiência cardíaca. Se continuar assim, morrerá. Uma igreja com oração é uma igreja com fé.  Porque há oração, a expectativa nasce. A fé brota. E onde há fé, a obra de Deus acontece. Duas coisas: ① Oração pessoal. Mesmo que seja curta, quero que seja nossa cultura orar pela igreja e pelo culto. Não oramos porque amamos a igreja; o amor brota quando oramos. ② Em pequenos grupos e reuniões de oração.

3. Tornando-se uma Bênção

■ Uma Igreja que é Modelo para a Evangelização Rural  A disparidade regional está se tornando um problema. Nesse contexto, existe uma realidade em que as igrejas rurais estão sendo cortadas. Existem poucas igrejas ao redor de Tsukuba também. Como podemos fazer isso de forma sustentável?  Acredito que a resposta está na Bíblia. Olhe para a igreja de Colossos. Colossos era uma pequena cidade a 160 km a leste de Éfeso. Paulo nunca tinha estado lá. Um homem chamado Epafras, que ouviu o Evangelho em Éfeso, voltou para sua cidade natal para pregar. Uma igreja-mãe em uma cidade regional apoiando as cidades vizinhas como uma equipe — nos tornaremos uma igreja modelo para a evangelização rural. Acredito que as pessoas virão nos visitar e observar algum dia.

■ Uma Igreja Conectada ao Mundo Esta foi a motivação para a plantação em Tsukuba.  Pessoas de muitos países se reúnem aqui. Elas são salvas → e depois são enviadas. Assim como Epafras voltou para sua cidade natal, Colossos, para pregar, e Paulo apoiou a igreja colossense escrevendo uma carta, eu sonho com pessoas sendo levantadas nesta igreja que sejam enviadas a vários lugares com um coração para a missão. Sonho com um dia no Céu em que alguém de um país que nunca visitei diga: "Você é da Tsukuba Life Church? Obrigado! Por causa de vocês, eu fui salvo".

■ Uma Igreja onde você pode Encontrar Jesus (Expectativa) Quero que sejamos uma igreja onde as pessoas venham com a fé de "eu vou me encontrar com Jesus".  Para isso, a fé (expectativa) é vital. Somos uma igreja que valoriza a adoração. Queremos ser uma igreja que crê que Jesus está aqui hoje, que Deus, o Espírito Santo, nos toca hoje e nos transforma. Encontramos Jesus no louvor, na oração, através da Palavra e na comunhão.

■ Uma Igreja onde Todos Podem Sonhar Jesus deve ter tido um sonho para a igreja. Ele disse: "Sobre esta pedra edificarei a minha igreja". Quando Ele se dirigiu a Jerusalém, e enquanto estava na Cruz, Ele não sonhou com a forma da igreja? Imagino que Ele pensou nas pessoas que seriam transformadas. Oro para que este sonho arda no coração de cada um de vocês também. Acredito que há um sentido para você ter sido colocado aqui.

Filipenses 2:13: "Pois é Deus quem efetua em vocês tanto o querer quanto o realizar, de acordo com a boa vontade dele." 

Vamos sonhar pela igreja. Certamente há uma visão que Deus deseja para esta igreja.
